Shine International Makes First-Look Deal with 44 Blue Productions

Shine International, the worldwide distribution arm of Shine Group, has signed a significant first-look development and distribution deal with 44 Blue Productions, it was announced today.

The partnership was announced and brokered by Rasha Drachkovitch, President of 44 Blue Productions, Stephanie Drachkovitch, Executive Vice President and Co-Owner of 44 Blue Productions and Tania Jacobson, SVP Sales and Acquisitions, Americas.

44 Blue Productions is known for its impressive slate of ground breaking series including Wahlburgers, set to debut on Jan. 22, 2014 (A+E), the Lockup franchise, one of the longest-running reality series on television (MSNBC), Pit Bulls & Parolees (Animal Planet), the Emmy-nominated Split Ends (Style) and the Gracie Award-winning Married to the Army: Alaska (OWN).

Shine International is responsible for the distribution of over 3,700 hours of broadcast content annually on behalf of Shine Group and a growing number of third party producers and a leader in handling global rights to both non-scripted and scripted formats.

Third-party titles include the award-winning 24 Hours in A&E (Garden Productions / Ch4), Anything Goes (Satisfaction – Television Agency / TF1), Killers Behind Bars (Popkorn TV / Ch 5), Hoarding: Buried Alive (Discovery Studios, TLC), The School (2Four Broadcast, Ch4), together with a scripted catalogue that includes Archer (FX Prods, FX), In The Flesh (BBC Productions, BBC Three), Real Humans (Matador Films, SVT) and The Listener (Shaftesbury Film & TV, CTV).
