Rubicon
Rubicon TV is a leading production company in Norway.
Established in 1993, Rubicon works with passionate talent to create, develop and produce popular, innovative, drama, entertainment, factual and comedy series.
Producing television shows for all major Norwegian broadcasters, the first season of Rubicon’s hugely successful comedy drama Lilyhammer premiered in 2012, with a record audience of 998,000. In 2012, Netflix made all eight episodes available making Lilyhammer the first original series to acquired and streamed in full by Netflix. Having completed filming Season 2 is due to TX in Autumn 2013.
Other high profile Rubicon series include award-winning family drama Hvaler (international title Maria) (TV2), MasterChef (TV3) Clash Of The Choirs (TV2), and police drama, Special Unit (TV3).
Rubicon has also produced hugely successfully international entertainment formats such as Big Brother and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Deal or No Deal for Norwegian audiences.
