Dragonfly Appoints Tamara Abood as Head Of Factual Entertainment.

Dragonfly Film and Television has bolstered its senior creative team with the appointment of Tamara Abood.
Abood joins Dragonfly in October from TwoFour Entertainment where she is Head of Factual. In her new role as Dragonfly’s Head of Factual Entertainment, she will report to Creative Director, Simon Dickson with a remit to help build on the indie’s growing slate.
Managing Director Sanjay Singhal said: “Tamara is a big-hitting programme maker, who has, over the years, run some hugely ambitious and demanding series. She has solid journalistic credibility and a fantastic instinct for attention grabbing television. I’m very excited about the prospect of working with her.”
Abood has been Head of Factual at TwoFour since 2010 where she was responsible for a slate of factual programming across various broadcasters including forthcoming BBC3 Series Be Your Own Boss fronted by Innocent drinks co-founder Richard Reed.
She has also served at Channel 4 in various roles including Commissioning Editor in Features and News & Current Affairs. Her other programme credits include Bad Lads Army for ITV2, Emmy – award winning Brat Camp and BAFTA-nominated That’ll Teach ‘Em.
