Metronome Group Re-Structure Studios Facilities Group

Metronome Group today announced a re-structuring of facilities business Studios, which will see local facilities companies now reporting directly to local Metronome MD’s. As a result of the restructure, the existing central MDs role within the Studios group Jon Plougmann, MD Studios A/S, Studios AS and head of Studios Mekaniken AB will be leaving the company at the end of the month. Chief Financial Officer of the Copenhagen-based Studios A/S facilities Martin Søgaard Nielsen also leaves at this time and his responsibilities absorbed by the Metronome finance team.

Originally founded in 1996, Studios A/S serves both Metronome Group companies and the wider production community in the Nordics through the running and rental of production equipment, broadcast studios, OB trucks for sports, news and entertainment based events and in house and on site post production facilities.

Metronome Bertil Rosenlund CFO says: “On behalf of everybody at Studios A/S and Metronome I’d like to thank Jon for all the great work he has done, both in first establishing the business and being a valued colleague as he has built its market share and reputation. We wish him the very best in his next challenge. The Studios A/S business is a key part of the Metronome Group and will continue as such under the direct guidance of the local MD’s.

Jon Plougmann said: ”I’m very happy to have worked with the many dedicated colleagues in Studios during these years, and I am proud of the results that we have reached together as technincal supplier for so many Production Companies and Broadcasters in the Nordics. Now feels like a good time for me to move on, I’m looking forward to new challenges and wish Studios good luck for the future.”
