Shine 360° Appoints David Christopher As Director of Licensing

Shine 360°, the Shine Group division responsible for the management and commercialisation of non-broadcast rights, has appointed David Christopher to the newly created position of Director of Licensing, effective immediately.
Christopher, a former Jaguar Land Rover, and 2waytraffic (Sony Pictures Television) executive, will oversee all local UK and multi-territory licensing and brand extensions, across consumer products and publishing, retail, digital and interactive, and live experiences.

Working within the Group Shine 360° team, Christopher will work alongside Mark Rosenegk (Director of Brand Partnerships), and the business’ Creative and Brand units. He will also work with other Group-wide divisions including Shine Networks and Shine International, and local 360° teams in Australia, the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Nordics.
Christopher joins from Jaguar Land Rover, where as Global Director, Merchandising and Licensing, he was responsible for establishing a new Merchandise and Licensing operation and building a global program for both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
Prior to Jaguar Land Rover, Christopher was Director of Consumer Products at Sony Pictures Television where he led the critically and commercially acclaimed extension of flagship properties including Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Dragon’s Den, and You Are What You Eat, across categories including publishing, gaming, toys, food, education and live events.
Established in 2010, and with offices in London, Sydney, Los Angeles, Paris and Stockholm, Shine 360° is the global commercial and rights management division of the Shine Group, responsible for developing the company’s brands across sponsorship and advertiser partnerships, digital and interactive, retail and consumer products, as well as live experiences.
