Anything Goes Shines in Spain, Brazil and CEE

Shine Group today announced four new international commissions for the French comedy entertainment format Anything Goes, with debut productions confirmed in Spain (Antena 3), Ukraine (1+1), Romania (Antena 1) and Brazil (Globo) – bringing the international production total to 11 versions worldwide (including the original).
The news coincides with the format’s Australian premiere on Seven on Wednesday (August 7), which under the title of SlideShow, (a reference to the show’s unique sliding stage), rated as the number 1 show of the night across all networks, reaching over 2 million viewers nationally across all demographics. The series is produced by Shine Australia and overseen by CEO Mark Fennessy,
Anything Goes was created by Paris-based Satisfaction, The Television Agency for TF1, on which it enjoys continued success, consistently winning its slot and rating as one of France’s most popular shows.
Launched worldwide at last year’s MIPCOM local versions have already been commissioned in China (Hunan TV), Lebanon (MTV), V (Fr. Canada), Denmark (TV2).
Following the show’s successful first series run in Portugal on SIC in January which doubled the channels slot average, producers Shine Iberia have been commissioned to deliver a second Portuguese series and a first 13 x 90 minute series in Spain for Antena 3. Both series are executive produced by Macarena Rey, CEO, Shine Iberia.
The following new deals have been brokered by Shine International. Globo in Brazil has commissioned a 20 part series for primetime and will produce in-house. The format will also debut in Eastern Europe, following its promotion at NATPE Budapest, with a 10 part commission by 1+1 for the Ukraine and an eight part series with Antena 1 in Romania. The territories are managed by Matt Vassallo (Senior VP - Sales, Latin America and USA), Dorit Schilling (Director - Sales, Germany & CEE) and Beatriz Campos (Sales Executive) at Shine International.
