Axel Kuehn

Axel Kuehn is CEO of Shine Germany.

During his time at school and then University, Axel Kühn worked as a sports reporter for radio ffn and as a freelance journalist for Tempo, Frankfurter Rundschau, and others. After a successful traineeship at the German pay-TV station “Premiere” he then started working there as a Researcher for the interview-magazine 0137 and then went on to become the Executive Producer for 0137 Night Talk. Axel worked as Managing Editor for the RTL-Nacht-Show and as a Producer at ProSieben. In 1999, he produced the award-winning TV-Movie Versprich mir, dass es den Himmel gibt.

He was Programming Director at TM3 for many years and later he was employed as head of Business Development at Tresor TV. From 2006, Axel Kühn spent two years as the Programming Director at RTL2.
