Managing Director

Tarja Pääkkönen is Managing Director of Shine Finland.

Tarja joined Shine Finland in 2006 as an Executive Producer, taking up the role of Managing Director in October 2013. Prior to this, Tarja spent over 10 years working in several advertising agencies before beginning her TV career as Managing Director of a company called Porkkana Ryhmä (Carrot Group). After Porkkana, Tarja spend 18 months in Sydney travelling before returning to Helsinki to work for Senso Films in film acquisition and distribution. In August 1999, Milla received an offer to produce Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, an offer she couldn’t refuse and she subsequently spent 7 years at Jarowskij Finland before joining Shine.
