Claire Tavernier is the interim Managing Director of ChannelFlip.
Claire has also been working with Shine Group as Digital Consultant since February 2013. Prior to joining Shine, Claire was the head of FremantleMedia’s central digital division FMX from its creation in 2006 until the end of 2012. Before that, she ran FremantleMedia’s licensing and interactive activities for UK and German and worked for the Financial Times and Pearson Education’s digital divisions.
During her FremantleMedia days, Claire was involved in a number of high profile new media projects. Some of her successes have included turning FremantleMedia into a top 20 YouTube partner globally with over 90 channels; the launch of The Pet Collective, a YouTube-funded original channel in the US which has already reached 20m views and is fully sponsored by Purina; the roll-out of award-winning apps for The X Factor, Got Talent and Idols; producing three seasons of the branded entertainment project Re:Discover for Buick and MSN; and winning interactive awards at the Banff festival three years in a row, a unique achievement.
