Ollie Madden

Head of Film

Ollie Madden is Head of Film at Shine Pictures.

Ollie Madden started his film career in 1999, working in film production and development at Graham Broadbent and Damian Jones’ Dragon Pictures. He later became an Acquisitions Executive at Atom Films, then in 2001 Madden moved on to be a Director of Production and Development at Miramax Films where he spent three years.

In 2004, Madden joined Intermedia Films as Head of UK Production and Development and in 2007, Madden took up his post as Vice President, Production for Warner Bros. Pictures where he was involved in bringing Slumdog Millionaire into the company and oversaw production on both Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films.

In 2011 Ollie joined Shine Pictures, which he now heads up with with Executive Chairman, Stephen Garrett.
