Rui Ávila is Head of Portugal at Shine Iberia.

Rui is Head of Shine Iberia’s Portuguese office, a role he took up in 2012 and has more than 19 years of experience in the industry. In the last 4 years he has been production director for Eyeworks-cuatrocabezas, where he developed and produced projects likePortugueses Pelo Mundo for RTP and CQC – Caiga Quien Caig for TVI; and as exceutive producer at Endemol, where he was responsible for Secret Story – Casa dos Segredos and Uma Canção Para Ti for TVI, Chamar a Musica for SIC and >em>MasterChef for RTP.

He previously worked as production director at PLURAL and TGSA, leading the production of shows like Jardins Proíbidos and Sonhos Traídos for TVI and Floribella for SIC, among others.
