Interim Managing Director

Simon Romanus is Interim Managing Director For Friday TV.

Simon joined Friday TV in 2009 as Head of Development and became Interim Managing Director in May 2012.

Simon started his television career in 1994 when he went from being a newspaper reporter and a radio host to being a reporter at the crime show ”Swedens Most Wanted” for Strix Television. After a few years Simon went to the public broadcaster SVT to work as a reporter and editor for the news and other different shows and ended up as a host for the youth news show Lilla Aktuellt. During his work at SVT Simon also worked with the award winning reality show Expedition Robinson/Survivor as a reporter and editor.

After eight years at SVT he then left to work as a producer at Jarowskij with different shows for all the Swedish broadcasters. In 2007 and 2008 he won several awards as a producer for the interior design show Room Service. In 2009 he won the Swedish Television award Kristallen for the show Wild Kids.

Simon has also been a member of the Executive Board of Judges of Swedish Television Award, Kristallen, and is since many years back a member of the Board of Judges of the yearly Swedish Radio Award.
