What happens next?

Your form will be reviewed by our team and someone will be in contact via email or telephone.

How long should the audition be?

The performance should last no more than 1:30 mins and you should be in full costume and make up.

How big can my group be?

There is no limit to the number of dancers in your group.

We are looking for solo artists, pairs or groups of any size.

Is there an Age Limit?

You can be any age to apply for the show!

However, any individuals or members of a group under the age of 18 will be required to bring a parent or guardian to the auditions.

Do I have to have any dancing experience?

The competition is open to all levels of dance experience.

What format should our music be on?

Please bring your music on a CD - there will be a CD player supplied in the audition rooms.

Please ensure you have checked your CD prior to your audition as this is your one chance to impress.

You are allowed to use musical instruments at your audition but please ensure you have the musicians to go with them! You will need to advise the production team of this prior to audition.

I am not British or Irish but I now live in the UK or Ireland. Can I still apply?

Yes, the competition is open to anyone who permanently lives in the UK or Ireland.

I have missed the deadline for submitting my application. Can I still apply to the series?

Our deadline for applications is the 24th August, but this is subject to change.

What will you do with all of the personal information I enter into the website?

The information you submit to the website can only be accessed by authorised members of the production team for administration purposes and the panel of selectors for judging purposes. We may also use personal information to contact you about your application or about any further series.

Your images may also be used in the series. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for more information on how your images may be used in the programme.

How do I know if my application has been submitted incorrectly or incomplete?

The production team will use reasonable endeavours to contact any candidate via email if their application has been deemed to be incorrect or incomplete. The email will inform them about what area of their application is incorrect or incomplete. They may then give the opportunity to rectify this issue if appropriate.

Although every effort will be made to contact candidates whose applications fall into this category we are unable to guarantee that this will happen. Accordingly candidates must try to ensure that they apply correctly.
