Unfortunately due to the large number of applications we will be unable to reply to all applicants individually. You will only hear from us if you have been short listed to take part in the competition.

• You must be 18 years old or over (as at 25 January 2015)
• You have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), are in good health and aware of no reason why you should not be able to take part in the programme.
• Employees of Shine TV and/or Channel 4 (and members of their immediate family or household) are not eligible to apply for the programme.
• Neither Shine TV nor Channel 4 shall be responsible for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any aspect of the online application system or email which may result in any applications not being properly received.
• You understand that if you are short-listed to participate in the programme that Shine may undertake background checks (including DBS checks) and may require you to undergo a medical and psych test.
• The information you supply on this form (including your personal details):
  • may be included in a contestant database compiled by Shine;
  • will used for the purposes related to the production of the programme;
  • may be used for inclusion and/or read out in the programme; and
  • will not be supplied to third parties other than Channel 4 and our insurers other than as is reasonably necessary for the purposes of producing the programme.
• All information supplied (including personal details) in your application or otherwise provided must be truthful, accurate and not misleading. Please note that all decisions regarding applications shall made by Shine TV and Channel 4 in its discretion and shall not be subject to appeal.
