Endemol Shine UK Announces New Digital Roles

Endemol Shine UK today announced new digital roles at Multi Channel Network (MCN), ChannelFlip.
Jules Fuller, currently Executive Producer at Endemol Shine UK’s commercial team has been appointed the Creative Director of ChannelFlip. This role will see Fuller taking creative leadership across all ChannelFlip’s digital programming. Fuller joined Initial, part of Endemol Shine Group in 2004 after running the Channel [V] India music channel for Star TV and launching Pogo India kids channel for Turner. Recent credits include The National Lottery Live and a digital campaign for Doritos, as well as developing a broad range of digital projects with the commercial team.
Caroline Reik, currently Head of Branded Partnerships at Endemol Shine UK has been promoted to Director of Branded Content. Reik joined Endemol Shine UK in 2014 and in this newly created role her remit broadens to include developing linear and digital commercial content deals at both ChannelFlip and Endemol Beyond UK.
In addition, Riyad Barmania has been promoted to Content Director at ChannelFlip. Barmania joined the company three years ago and became a Creative Producer to run YouTube funded channels alongside Jamie Lennox, commissioning over 25 original series in a year. Key credits have included original content Ashens and the Quest for the GameChild, and Who Stole Stuart’s Sofa.
ChannelFlip’s current Creative Director Jamie Lennox and Commercial Director Matt Rook have decided to step down from their roles early this summer. Lennox joined ChannelFlip in 2007 and Rook joined in 2010, with both taking on current roles in 2014. The pair will announce further details of their new venture in due course.
ChannelFlip and Endemol Beyond UK will continue to operate separately, both overseen by Laurence Jones, Commercial Director at Endemol Shine UK. In their new roles, Fuller and Reik will both report to Jones.

They are leaving the business in great shape for Jules and Caroline, who have the commercial and production experience to step into these new roles as part of an enhanced digital offering.”

ChannelFlip is a MCN with over 180 channels, over 20 million subscribers generating over 85 million views per month. The company specialises in digital talent representation (through the newly established FlipSide), and also collaborates with brands, producing bespoke content to reach new audiences and is behind the recently announced Skip Festival, London’s newest YouTube creator event, in September.
Endemol Beyond UK’s slate of original digital programming includes ICON UK, the lifestyle network led by digital superstar Michelle Phan; sports channels Rule’M Sports, featuring superstar YouTuber KSI and Legends of Gaming fronted by top YouTube gamer Ali A, which will culminate in a live event at Alexandra Palace this September.
